I was taking the capsules but have switched to powder. Just mix it in my coffee along with the ultimate complex. I have been taking Lions Mane for about 6 months now and will do so for life. What a change in mood, memory recall and focus. Couldn't recommend more. I had a coworker that got in a motorcycle accident and completely broke his entire face. He has lost all sense of smell and taste as well as hearing issues. I told him about this product so he decided to give it a try. Although it didn't help his injuries he had to stop taking it. You may be asking why I'm talking about this so check this out. He has 2 bulged disc's in his neck and had some nerves burned in order to relieve the pain he was in. This was done years ago. After taking Lions Mane for about a month he started to get the pain in his neck again. After an MRI his doctor said that the nerves grew back!!! Crazy. Easiest addition to my morning routine. Like all the rest of the products I've tried from Fresh Caps, easy to incorporate into a morning routine with coffee or tea, both in the capsule or added to my drink/food. I like to mix it up depending on my time constraints in the morning. The rest of the day/evening, still as simple as opening the capsule to sprinkle or taking my second serving with a drink.
