Chipotle Maple Mushroom Jerky

Mushrooms turned into pure bites of bliss! This is an easy way to create a vegan jerky snack that is sure to please everyone.

INgredients

  • 1.5 Tbsp Chipotle sauce
  • 1.5 Tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp fresh squeezed orange juice
  • ¼ tsp mushroom salt
  • 8 - 10 sliced crimini mushrooms

directions

  1. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over sliced mushrooms.
  2. Mix thoroughly to evenly distribute marinade.
  3. Marinade overnight (or continue to next steps right away)
  4. Place in a dehydrator and dehydrate around 200° until chewy with crisp edges.
  5. Remove from dehydrator and let cool.
  6. Enjoy!
